Hubitat Elevation offers a built-in Sonos integration app that allows you to easily add existing Sonos devices to your Hubitat Elevation hub. This allows them to be used in rules and other apps alongside your other devices. The Sonos integration app is built into your hub. To add, navigate to Apps and select Sonos Integration, then wait for your speakers to be discovered, and follow the prompts to add the devices to your hub.
To test the integration, navigate to Devices and find your newly added speakers in the list. Try commands such as Speak (providing text to speak when testing the command) or Pause to see how they work.
Many built-in apps allow use of Sonos devices for automations. For example the built-in Notifications app allows you to easily configure TTS announcements based on events, such as a door or window opening or closing or a lock remaining unlocked for a certain amount of time.
